Via an external audit by DEKRA according to recognised international standards, DAKO GmbH has again received certification under ISO 9001:2015 for its internal quality management. The certificate confirms the high quality standard we set for developing our products for transport and logistics companies and strengthens the confidence in our company processes.
Strong internal quality management ensures that a company delivers products and services of consistent quality, meets customer requirements, and continuously improves processes. DAKO underwent an external audit by DEKRA at the beginning of the year. As a result, DAKO again obtained the ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management. Due to the change of the auditor, the certificate corresponds to the accredited standard.
The focus of the objective audit was, among other things, the customer service and release processes, as well as customer communication. DEKRA also scrutinised staff training and regular internal monitoring. The confirmation that these processes run according to international standards underlines our high quality standards. “Customer orientation is our top priority,” affirms Martin Dittmar, commercial manager of DAKO GmbH. “With structured and efficient quality management, we lay the foundation to meet and even exceed customer demands with our products. The continuous assurance and optimisation of quality is not a formal principle but is lived in the corporate culture. The certificate shows that we fulfil the quality promise to our customers.” The certification test is renewed annually, ensuring consistently high quality that customers can rely on.
The industry-independent international standard ISO 9001:2015 defines the requirements for a quality management system. The certificate is awarded to companies that meet requirements for legal certainty, structured processes and clearly defined areas of responsibility.
