In conjunction with the DAKO Fleet software, the LINK 340 trailer tracker offers reliable tracking for your trailers and is flexible in use thanks to its simple installation and power supply via a high-capacity battery.
The LINK 340 provides an overview of the positions of trailers and other machines, even when they are parked. The device transmits in both the 2G and the more modern 4G mobile phone network, so that it can be used without any problems even after the 2G network has been switched off. While driving, the tracker transmits current position data every minute, and every 24 hours when stationary to save battery power. If there is no reception, data records are recorded and transmitted as soon as the device has reception again.
The LINK 340 has splash and dust protection (IP67) and can therefore be used in a variety of situations. The trailer tracker can also withstand sub-zero temperatures down to -20 °C without any problems, as well as high temperatures up to +60 °C. With a battery life of 90 days, data transmission is guaranteed even during long periods of inactivity.
DAKO Fleet allows you to set up so-called geo-zones, i.e. defined areas that an asset is not allowed to leave. As soon as a crossing of these ‘digital fences’ is registered via the position data, a notification is sent and measures can be taken. This allows you to protect your trailers and other machines from theft and unauthorised use.
