      Creating a new vehicle profile:

      1. Navigation: Administration / Master data / Vehicles + Create new
      2. Please fill in the fields and press Save.
These fields must be entered: Registration number, chassis number, country (already preselected)

You can also import data from existing data sets.

Driver cards must be read out every 28 days at the latest. A minimum period of 90 days applies to digital recording equipment (tachographs) in the vehicle. More details on social regulations and read out procedures can be found in our flyer "Social Regulations" under Information & Resources.

Our DAKO drive app has the vehicle pre-check function fully integrated - including a checklist by vehicle type, documentation of any damage via the smartphone camera and automatic transmission of the reports to the DAKO Fleet web platform.

The best way to do this is to use RFID tags, which are simply stuck onto the driving licence and can then be read via an app or stationary device. DAKO offers the ability to electronically check driving licences via RFID tags both in the DAKO drive app and with our in-house developed readout device, the TachoStation. DAKO RFID tags are available in our shop for only €3.00 per piece.

Thanks to our modular structure, you can easily expand your services. For example, we offer increased data quality through the daily readout of the driver card or the weekly download of the tachograph data as an upgrade. Tracking, e.g. for tracking stolen vehicles, and FMS data, e.g. on fuel consumption and braking behaviour, are also part of the expansion options. Please feel free to call us for a personalised consultation!

Yes! We are happy to advise you on funding applications. You can also find information on de minimis and the eligibility of our products here: De-minimis blog post (German)

To readout the data from the driver card and tachograph at the legally required deadlines, you need a download key, like the DAKO TachoKEY. Data can be transferred easily and securely via an app or a public DAKO TachoStation, and is automatically archived in compliance with the law. Our readout devices can of course also read out the latest generation of tachographs (Smart Tacho Gen2V2). The DAKO TachoKEY is available in our shop for €139.00.

We'll find the right hardware for your specific needs. You can find all the products we have on offer in our shop.
