How does remote read-out of digital tachograph data work with DAKO Fleet?

Installation of the transmission module on the digital tachographs of all vehicles.
Store your company card securely in DAKO's in-house data centre
Remote read-out and encrypted transmission of tachograph data, vehicle data and driver card data via GPRS to the DAKO data centre, without the need for additional software or hardware in the company.
Done! From now on, all signed data records from the truck tachograph will be automatically and remotely read online in compliance with legal requirements and deadlines, clearly evaluated and archived in DAKO Fleet.

Prerequisites for remote read-out

Which hardware is required for remote tachograph download?

Remote read-out is generally possible with all remote-enabled truck tachographs. The easiest way to find out whether a tachograph is remote-enabled is to consult the user manual. Anyone using tachograph models from the last ten years can be sure that they are remote-enabled tachographs or remote tachographs and that the remote read-out of the digital tachograph is possible.

To ensure online transmission of tachograph data, a telematics module with a SIM card is also required to transmit the collected tachograph data/vehicle data to the data centre in encrypted form.
