Driver card data must be read out, stored, secured, evaluated, and archived for at least 1 year at intervals of no more than 28 days. With DAKO Fleet, driver card data can be read out and stored using the archiving software.
Vehicle data (mass memory) or tachograph data must be read out, stored, secured, evaluated, and archived for at least 1 year every 90 days in accordance with the EC regulation. DAKO Fleet supports reading out of tachographs and can also legally store the data as archiving software.
No. The company card (or company owner card – not to be confused with the driver card!) is needed to access the data from the tachograph and driver card. The rule is: insert the company card first, then proceed with reading out. Therefore, the company card plays an important role in reading out tachograph data.
