package<\/a><\/strong> we presented a comprehensive report on the regulations that this reform provides for commercial road freight and passenger transport. As the individual changes are being implemented step-by-step, we would like to provide regular updates on the latest relevant changes. <\/p>\n<p>From the <strong>cut-off date of 31\/12\/2024<\/strong>, all documents relating to data stored on the driver card <strong>must be carried in the vehicle cab<\/strong>. In the event of any inspections, drivers must be able to present proof of driving, rest, working and on-call times for the current day and for the previous 56 days (<strong>\u201c56+1 rule\u201d<\/strong>). This doubles the previous requirement of 28 days. Since the introduction of new tachograph models (Gen2V2) last year, new driver cards have also been issued by the national authorities, which must be able to store at least 56 days\u2019 worth of data.   <\/p>\n<p>To give you a quick overview of what the new regulations look like in detail and what you need to consider, we have summarised the most important information cab.<\/li>\n<li>As gaps may arise during this changeover to the new deadlines due to documents having already been submitted for their prescribed <strong>archiving<\/strong> (according to the old 28-day deadline), <strong>transport managers must ensure that such documents are made available to drivers again.<\/strong> That being said, carrying copies of original documents is sufficient. <\/li>\n<li>Those responsible should also <strong>check <\/strong><strong>the validity of all driver cards for all drivers in their web platform <\/strong>(or their documents) and arrange for a timely
